At 265 and a cooler, I think you would do better with a bigger board. I had an 11' steamroller at 195#. I would put my 4 yo old on but it was not super stable. Front will be better than rear. Dunno about double skin.

http://www.flir.com/flirone/content/?id=69420These have been out for a couple of years. Not sure how often anyone needs IR imaging and waterproof at same time. Maybe volunteer firefighters could use it but the firefighters I have seen have had real IR cameras. This thing has a midrange processor and some unknown camera. The Galaxy s7 and s7 edge, Sony X5 have top of the line processors and excellent cameras, all while being IP68. Seems like an odd tradeoff for convenience of built in FLIR. I have my infrared temperature gun and really haven't found a good reason for it other than checking the melting point of hot glue for my Kenalus.

That is one hare-brained phone. Who needs thermal imaging and waterproof in a phone? Galaxy s7 is IP68 without flipping a switch. That has got to be the most niche-market phone around.

Congratulations! Does it lower the risk of esophageal injury? I have seen a few esophagoatrial fistulas from ablations. Bad problem to have.

You can export your run as a .fit file and import directly into Garmin Training Center File>Import to Current User Account>History...
That should generate the numbers you are used to seeing.
I haven't found a program I like better yet but I haven't been looking that hard.

So should I use the NK mount or Go pro? I'm confused. Since my mount is stuck to this orange suction cup thing what pieces and from whom would I need to get?
Is the mount attached to the suction mount via a thumbscrew? If so, you can buy one of the go pro mounts and replace it. These parts would work http://shop.gopro.com/mounts/replacement-parts/AGBAG-001.html#/prefn1=gp_itemType&prefv1=Mounts&start=1You would only need the receiver part (the part that sticks to the board) and the removable mount part (the part that engages the receiver) but I cant remember seeing them individually.

There is so much variability between strokes, I find it hard to find the signal in the noise. My typical stroke would bounce between 9 and 11 ft. Even a 10 % improvement in equipment would be hard to see real time. I quit trying to use it. My workouts are intervals so I try to maintain a minimum speed. I do note my cadence so I get some indirect measure of distance per stroke.

I am still waiting for the power meter. Haven't had any issues with real time accuracy with my speedcoach.

Guess it has been a while, April 2014. I think he must've learned a thing or two from me

Kayadogg set me up with mine. Great deal.
Nothing beats real time speed measurements. Another option would be putting your Garmin on your board. Danny Ching told me that is what he does. He also said he has good eyes.
Every session, I am amazed by the disconnect from what I "feel" is fast vs. what the speedcoach tells me.

The single most useful feedback is current speed. Any of the displays that can show what you are doing real time will be helpful to tell you what is working and what isn't. I have had a 310xt for years and still use it but I don't find I can learn much from it. The Speedpuck was much more useful. I now have the speedcoach 2. It is nice to have cadence and HR but real time speed is still the best.
