Gear Talk / Best garage storage for all carbon 12'6 SUP's

Hey all....just got a house with a large garage and am looking for the best way to store 4 all carbon 12'6 SUP's.   I am willing to make the money investment to protect the boards for sure and I'm not really handy so what does everyone think.....Thanks Rob

Hey looking to get rack to hold 2 surfboards, 2 AST Epoxy SUPs race boards, and   3 All Carbon SUP race boards which are kinda fragile for my garage.  A wall rack prob the best.  Can't seem to find anything online and I'm not very handy building things.  Would love any feedback and suggestions.  Thanks Rob

SUP General / 12 6 bark with gladiator hybrid fin

Installed a Gladiator Hybrid on my 12 6 bark comp.....it extends about an inch beyond the tail ....is that a problem....was told this is a gr8 fin for the board for the conditions I race.....thanks rob

Guess I'm a bit confused....why does the 12'6 x 24.5 Sprint have more volume than the 12'6 x 25.5 Sprint?....How does this effect stability and performance.  I am 5'3 138

I wish the world was my oyster...No really guys...I need help...Did I forget to say I'm 52 ... just wanna get and idea of a board that would be right for me.  I have the coastrunner way to heavy and I think wide....my wife has a 12 6 Bark still wide at 28".....going to the Carolina Cup will demo some there....help!!!!

Hey fellow paddlers....moving in to my second year racing an am looking for a new 14ft race board to be competitive on... I have good balance and have been told I have good paddle technique.  Paddle both flat and chop, short and long distance.  I am 5'3 140...I do a lot of training on a Starboard Coastrunner  which I find is quite wide and heavy...I believe it's 28" wide and like 33lbs....any suggestions on boards...widths, etc......Thanks Rob

I will be leaving to drive south for a while to get some training in....does it make a difference If the boards are tail front if both boards are in bags and fins removed seeing as there is so much board volume in the noses of the board....supposed to be real windy so I was a bit concerned.....Thanks Rob

Sounds like you guys were at war out there in the bay....I know how ya feel...the week before I  barely survived the SEAPaddle NYC 26.5-mile stand-up paddle race.. I was at war also!! The conditions were really tough, 15-20 knot headwind for last 15 miles, 12 miles of which were into a 3knot current, I was barely moving...couldn't take the paddle out of the water long enough for nutrition for long stretches....Hells Gate was going off with incredible rapids ....got spun around twice..... I finished in 7:24:40 but at times it just about broke me....hurt everywhere....really wanna do the CCBC next year....hope your back gets better

Just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck in the crossing this year....hoping to do it next year with my wife....this past Friday  I did the SEAPaddle NYC 26.5-mile stand-up paddle race..7:24:18....I think it was just about the hardest event I have ever done...but I was psyched because  I put myself out there for the kids and raised money for a great cause....Autism awareness!!! Really wanna paddle for Christopher's Haven next year....the event sounds great....my dad lives on the Cape so i hope to get some fall paddling in up there...again best of luck to all....Rob

Hey everyone.....need to get a leash to use for some upcoming events.....I am on a 14ft board.....what length...brand etc......also been using the camelbak baja for long events....need a pfd to stuff in there .....any recommendations......hope everyone is having a gr8 paddling season.....Rob
