SUP General / San Onofre

just wondering if any areas are off limits for SUP?  from what I hear, everyone goes to Dog Patch... I'm going to San O for the first time this weekend, and I'm planning on taking my longboard and SUP, but I don't want to look like an idiot paddling out on my SUP if I'm not supposed to.

Gear Talk / Paddle Handle Question

I have a Kialoa Shaka Pu'u paddle and I'm planing on cutting down a few inches.  Anyone have any ideas how much the handle itself costs?  I'm just assuming you can't save the handle since it's already epoxied on to the paddle shaft.
