The Shape Shack / Rocker #'s

I am just starting to shape some SUPs and was wondering for surfing if somone could give me a ball park rocker # for nose, 12in nose, tail 12 in tail?
for a:
SImmons style 8ft

10 ft longboard laird pearson arrow style

short ripper style

Not trying to get any secrets just some ballpark # so I dont totally wast these blanks. I have been shaping for 6 years and am just starting to do SUPs for myself and wife but prob not for the shops bc everyone here buys cheap china stuff.

Hi there, I am new to this forum. I have been a surfboard shaper for about 5 years. Learned and apprenticed down in San Diego and now live in Tofino on Vancouver Island. Since living here I have been shaping a boards for a couple local shops and doing customs out of a small shop here. I have been quite interested in shaping SUP's for the last year and am just about to do 3 more for my wife and friends.

So here is my questions to Canadian SUPers. I see all chinese pop out SUPs here not one hand shaped yet. If someone like myself created a quality product in the 1300-1800 range for sup would you be interested. I just see more pop outs in surfboards and SUPs here than anywhere else in the world and I have traveled a bit. I am not sure if the made in North America pride thing is a prevelant here as in Cali.

I ask this bc it will take a good amount of money for me to set myself up in a larger space to make SUPs. I shape for the love of it and keep a day job as a boat captain. I would love to expand but I am not sure if this is the right place.

So just some honest advice would be greatly appreciated.

BTW I love the attitude on this site. I am on every design/ shaper forum and you guys have a very positive outlook.
