Gear Talk / Bliss Boards?

Has anyone ever heard of them? My Wife took a lesson and got an email from them?  They look fairly wide for women, My wife liked the look?  I have wide boards and love them personally. I want to ship one of my older sups to my brother in Texas. has anyone shipped a used sup? I heard there was a guy in lake forest that would box it up. I was thinking some bubble wrap and let him box it up and that would be good? I know I am a great brother!

Andy from the Carriage house in Laguna Beach did one with Terry Senate. Not sure who has the board now. But it was like a huge surfboard with pvc pipes, It was designed to be rode like a snow sled, but i think people ended up riding on their knees

Socal is super fun. Water is cold and the weather is not supposed to be that good this coming weekend. The fam and i were actually thinking of heading down to San Felipe to sup on the sea of cortez.  I sup Surf Doheny state beach often sup or surfboard, its nice because they both have their own section so there is nobody agro in the lineup. The wave is one of the best beginner waves and there are plenty of hotels right in Dana Point. The Marriott, Holiday Inn etc.  Doheny is a state park so if you buy a pass you can head down to Sano as well probably 10 mins south. There is a place called dog patch there that is super fun, more skilled riders there but again its an all sup place so no drama. I am actually psyched about this post as i have never sup surfed carlsbad, i may take a trip down there now to check it out. Have fun wherever you go.  The local mountains now have some snow, so you could do a ski, surf, sup day all in one.

Has anyone tried the Future Elavon's on a sup?  My buddy had one on his Lost Shark and i rode it and gave me a lot of lift. I was interested in how it would do on a sup?

This board is going to change the game. I am excited to try one. The dimensions look good as well. How was the float? seams like the volume is there? Are all of them just single fins? I may look to get something a little more aggressive than my eko paddilac sleigh.

I tried Rogue when i was first starting out, for me it was not stable enough but my wife liked it. Its a nice looking board and seamed well built. JKINSUP you can get our opinion on every board in the world, but you need to try the boards out.  A Lamborghini is a great car, but for me i have a hard time getting in one? doesnt make it a bad car.  Find the board that works for you.

We have taken two large sups on top of our rig on the highway for years with no issues. I do always double strap it. I saw a guy at the harbor with a sup specific strap, if i see him again i will get the name and post.

Typically I try to stay away from these Battle Threads, But since i noticed no one had ever ridden the board and i have, i wanted to chime in. I have a Paddillac and a Sano by EKO. I am big guy and they float me and my family fine and track well. I demo'd starboards boards as well, I did not find them much lighter (could have changed as this was 3 years ago). My main decision was price point that i could afford, and i am happy with them. That being said. would you buy a car or a bike without trying? TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. I am not an expert like some of you on the thread, i simply went out and tried a bunch of boards out before i bought. That being said, my thought would be to buy a used board first. quoting someone above this is your first board, not your last. Have Fun everybody. I am off to the harbor for a paddle.
