Yea, but can those speed wingers compete with this!  You don't know what fun is until you find yourself in one or more of these predicaments.

Re: Potentially $2,000/wing, is that a stiffy?  No!

Here's a review of the F-One Strike -- apparently it goes upwind really well (best wing upwind that's he's tested)! This is Tucker's favourite wing he usually doesn't say things like this since his shop sells so many different brands).

Here's a glowing review of the Strike:

Here's a new promotional video of the Duotone Slick:

From a marketing point-of-view I think most wing companies will at some point in time be offering both a traditional handle wing and a "boom" wing.

The V1 for Ensis had windows and they got rid of the windows for V2 saying that windows were too: (1) heavy; (2) stretchy and (3) hard to pack.  It will be interesting to hear how Ensis rationalizes putting the windows back into their wings. Personally, I don't have a problem with windows but it seems most have strong views one way or the other.

In one of those images DW posted (6th image) is the new Airush wing with two long handles or mini booms that was noted in one of the Wings with Booms threads!

Not all have windows -- no windows for F-One Strike, RRD or Ensis wings.

Here's the full interview -- lots of winging history and what may be coming in the near future.

Nick -- great videos.

We need you to start your own thread where you can put the videos you do.

Please do videos on some of the other Axis foils (980 etc.) and brief reviews of all the wind wings you have tried.

Also more technique videos would be great.

You're a great resource.

If "winging" is just a fad it's a pretty big one.  I saw this short segment of an interview with Wyatt Miller posted on another forum so I thought some here might be interested about how their sport is taking off -- here's the clip.
