4. No place for spent fuel
5. Old technology
6. If that is a 30' sea wall I'm not good at estimations

They hand out free T-shirts that my family wears.  We would change, if we were going to SL dream pad for dinner. ;D

I'm happy about this news! Hope we can stop looking at this issue over and over and move on! I think people get political burn out on the zone and share other topics?

Random / Re: Mountain bikers, show your bikes....

Not a current photo or a mountain bike. But this was me at National Championships too high on the bank! The bike had duel 24" wheels and was designed by 1984 Olympian Rory O'Reily. The bike was built by Yeti mountain bikes before they cashed out and welded by FTW Frank himself. I also raced this bike in team pursuit, and points race with a bar across the cow horns. The officials loved to follow me with a tape measure.

I ride my beach cruiser more than any bike in my garage.

Surfline is giving me malware warnings in my browser?

"Google Chrome has blocked access to www.surfline.com for now.
Even if you have visited this website safely in the past, visiting it now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.

Gear Talk / Re: The sticky volume thread
« on: June 04, 2013, 02:00:12 PM »
109 + 8 + 0.5 + 20L = 137.05 L

Currently riding: 135.71 shaped volume

L41 S4  8'4" x 31 x 4 5/8

I think: style, age, balance skills, and commitment are derivatives.

I watch, if surf is captivating. Not into racing portion of tour. I Love watching BOP and miss the Hawaii BOP event.

JOB, Nathan Fletcher, Josh Sleigh (this photo) may help change younger hater minds. Not Slater Trout in People magazine or more Laird media tours. A little less polish may help SUS Just my ideas. Like the boost that Shaun Palmer gave mountain bike racing and snowboarding. I'm sure SL will chime in with "Passion not Fashion"

Skip Vegas, take highway 1 all the way to San Francisco, with stops in Big Sur, Monterey and Santa Cruz.  Head east from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe, then on to Yosemite.

Stop in Santa Barbara and Jalama on your way north. Skip Vegas and LA

Amazing size and summer fun today, Surfline was wrong about size today. Boludo was driving left on some legit waves today. I wish I had a long lens to take some pics. Jean G got some great long rights. Me I got a few good waves but spent a lot of time as a lost lobster pot getting canned in the head for my bad decisions and fatigue mental and physical. ::) 3 days of warm waves, now it's time for some cube surfing (work).

Keep sharing your surf updates as they are fun to read.

So good today and crowd was sleeping in? It pushed through high tide ok and was glassy and sizzle smooth! I like the lulls so I can paddle out easy and rest. Sorry no pics just mental images.

I cut off 4" and my back was a little grumpy. It reminded me that in cycling I learned to make 2mil changes slowly over time in my position. That is the beauty of extended T Ke Nalu. The other thing I ponder is older athletes need more consistent exercise/SUS to retain muscle memory and adjust to change. NEVER STOP but improve your rest and recovery.
