Gear Talk / board for outter reef ocean paddle

greetins from the canary islands.   got a 10.4 jimmy lewis to get to the outter reef (4 kilometers ride) to do some uncrowded shortboarding.   I usually atatch my 6.4 to the deck with straps. 
would like a bigger, faster paddlin board to ride better upwind and choppy conditions
usually we have 15 knots side off shore blowin.
any suggestion?   thanks in advance

each style and discipline  helps eachother.

you will ride a longboard better if you know how to ride a shortboard.

you  will  improve your windsurfin if you surf. and  you will surf better if you windsurf.

short boarding is a must if want to feel the pure adreanaline rush in a hollow overhead wave. 
mine 6.6 x 19 3/4 x 2.5/8 round pin by peter daniels.
 
now purchasing a new lost stealth....cant wait to get it.

yeah...awsome wood paddles.   I remember those days back in 2006 when couldnot get carbon paddles and we were crazy about  wood crafts.   anyway,  your kids are future rippers.


have not sup san juan yet...too crowded...  my friend in famara has a board and a paddle there.  and... short board surfin is always good in lanzarote.

next week will be in fuerte. but if I have a chance to visit the other island. hope to sup.  buenas olas y buen aņo!

the other day...have realized some water inside my kioala shakapu.   thought has sealed quite good.  must be a little hole or something.

anybody with this issue.?
any suggestions to release the water and avoid this problem?
