Help me with current pricing!
« on: May 07, 2024, 11:31:17 AM »
Hi guys,

We have a bunch of stuff that we purchased last year, that is in top-notch condition that we need to unload. I'm not quite sure what's going on right now with resale on this gear so maybe you can help me with some aggressively good pricing suggestions.

I have two V1 Nolimitz carbon masts at 76 for Axis.  Both are like new.

I have an F1 Swing 2.8 and a Strike 3.5.  Both are whatever version was newest last year.  They each have a handful of uses and are super minty.

I have a fanatic 4 foot 11 wing board in whatever they call their premium construction from last year. It is also in perfect condition with no dings or scratches or nicks.  It comes with a nice padded DaKine bag.

Thanks!

I'm not a buyer for any of it, but I've been buying and selling some used gear recently.

With the NL v2 and a lot of other new masts on the market Ive seen a handful of NL v1 being sold for around $600 plus shipping.  These are typically Lift or Takuma, not Axis.

Wings are brutal to sell right now.  Ive sold some good condition Aluula wings for $450-550 plus shipping.  I would have to imagine your wings are worth around $350 - $400.  Those sizes (particularly the 2.8) are kind of niche and may be hard to sell.

No idea on the board.  Going to have to be a local situation there.  If its the wheeled Dakine bag, you are probably better off selling it separately for $175 or so.

Used gear is a buyers market right now.  Resale has been pretty brutal.

Agreed. Masts in the $600 range or $550 might entice a quicker sale. Project Cedrus generation 1 masts are going as low as $450 with 1 adapter.

Used wings for $300-$350 or they won't sell it seems. The problem is the overstock on the new wings. Sure yours might be top of the line, but there are other good wings brand new in shops on crazy closeout deals. People will gravitate to new unfortunately.

Board you could start around $600. Might have to go lower. I had a hard time selling a board for $450 last year. I think I had to come down even lower to finally move it.

I gave up on buying and selling gear and am riding what I have til it breaks now.

yes, the market seems flooded with gear.  I haven't been able to see anything except a few top of the line axis foil wings.  Once the new stuff comes out, the market drops out for the last generation.   Boards are the worst because they can cost over 2000 and sell 6-800 if you're lucky almost no matter what condition they are in.  I have a garage full of stuff and right now I'm enjoying loaning it out to people learning
