C4 waterman 12'6 mongoose

Very interesting shape but I found it to be very fast in the bump and not effected by side chop and wind because of its unique nose. Super piercing nose and a nice recessed deck made it feel quicker

Looks like I'll have to get on the C4 Waterman site and look at a broadside view in order to see the rocker (if it has any).

Not to say anything is wrong with the shape, but it is old (2015) and wide and 12'6". This sub-forum caters to the new and fast crowd and 12'6" is a buzz kill.

Otherwise I'd touting my 12' Excursion.

Also from 2015, the Bark Excursion 12' x 30".  Plenty quick and lots of glide.  It's surfability is way beyond any raceboard.  The surf nose and rocker is amazingly easy in choppy and windy conditions, again, way better then any raceboard.  I'll bet it downwinds well in short intervals swells.  Needless to say it's super stable.  Like a quicker, wider and lower volume M12.

Its 12'6 by 26 ....not wide at all and for a 12'6 it can def keep up with the "2017 newer and faster" you speak of...
