Center fin (longboard box) thruster setup

Having a hell of a time finding a fin...

looking for a center fin that fits in a standard longboard box, but is small enough to make it a true thruster setup. I feel like a lot of folks are riding this setup on smaller boards, yet for some reason the SUP companies still ship them as a 2+1.

Anyway, only fin I can find that fits my needs is this:

Most surf shops have an assortment of smaller center fins.

I make matched fin sets specifically for Sups , so you can ride a true thruster . All the fins come in 2 sizes V6 & V8 which gives some really good combo's to partially fin up or down given wave size and they also suit quad setups .I call it my Combo set . $250 for a 6 fin set Future or FCS base $250 US express posted to the USA. You can also just get individual fins or fronts & sides.

In the pics below the rears look a larger it's just the camera angle , they all match in size with same flex pattern.

I have the shapers fins JC 01 Carbon in my 2+1 fin set up as  thruster  Shapers fins have several set ups in the FCS or futures sides with traditional center fin box.

How about using a fin adapter. $18 and use whatever fcs fin you already own.

The VP fins set seems to be pretty good and customizable to any conditions.

We don't have them in Portugal just yet, so I use the FCS PC-5 Longboard Centre:

Make sure you bring it all the way to the tail end of the fin box, otherwise you won't have any drive!

We've been making my WD designed matched SUP 4" and 5" Thruster fin sets with both Futures and FCS side biter options, for years...
They work very well...totally dialed for my board designs and all aftermarket applications...

I believe the Gerry Lopez center fin fits a standard box.
