Best quads for sup that are Futures for me are the Gerry Lopez fins.  But on different boards I like different fins.  I like the Future Contollers on one board and the Keel fin with symetrical smaller trailers on another.  Depends on the Board and the size of the wave.  So best overall for me are the GL quads.  Try the GL tri fins too. I was surprized how much I liked them.

I've been trying to halo fins..they make them both for fcs and futures..fun fins...but I am not 100%..they seem kind of heavy. Dunno. Gotta have a day of decent surf, and test them side by side...

I have been using the FCS M7 and GX combo.  It has been working great for me.  A good mix of looseness and grab, especially for bigger days.  On smaller days I'll use FCS Aqualine quad fins; just be careful because they are super sharp.  I have the scar to prove it.

I've been using FCS fins on my SUPs. I'm running Aqualines on my 8'6" in most conditions. I'm running PC5 fronts and Q1 rears on my 8'2" right now. I think the Q1s really loosen up the board. The only downside is they are a straight composite fin and are really soft.

Jeff

The price of $95 for Quads and $94 for Tri fins is the only drawback to these fins Gerry Lopez SUP fins.  My local shop hooked me up on the price but it was a one time deal.  Sunrise surf shop.

Futures makes the heavier quads that are white plastic for about $55 to $60 on ebay.  Future Vectors quads about the same size as the GL quads sup fins .  I had a set of these delivered with my new board and I took these off and put on the GL quads on my board but don't know that there is a difference.  If I were to be in your shoes I would spend the extra $35 for the wife.
