Blane Chambers 9'2 AA Ran Away Sessions
« on: July 02, 2009, 01:24:46 AM »
Aloha

That's right Blane has been spending alot of time on his 12'0 gun and in the shaping room making customs for Noah, Stewart, Austin, customers, new designs, etc. that his once beloved 9'2 AA has been starving for attention. I received a call from aloha air cargo that the 9'2 AA had given them my number and asked for Noah. So immediately I ran to air cargo and saved this poor soul. On our way home the board told me sad stories of sitting in a storage room and having soo much attention when Noah came and visited Oahu. The 9'2 AA promissed me if we never put him in a dark room again he will take Noah to the promissed land of barrels and massive hacks by this weekend if the waves cooperate in return we must give it the attention that Blane once did. So a deal was struck....... ;D ;D ;D ;D...

Aloha

Byron

Here is day one at a spot next to man's hand.......This wave breaks in 2 to 3 feet of water and there is a shelf in front so going straight is a no no.

Hey there is a guy down there but where are the waves

Hey guy come over here

Ok ignore us but we see no waves over there

Were staying here and playing

Why you ignoring us you snob.... ;D ;D

Ok ignore us but you would have more fun here....Oh look another Travis came to play

Oh now you notice us.....Sorry the light is not right...Let's meet tomorrow

Thanks for looking

wow Byron, Noah's technique is getting unreal now!  when he tucks down on the wave, it kinda reminds me of Dino Miranda's barrel riding.  looks like that 9'2" found a new home on Maui  8)  8)

Thanks for the kind comments.

This Am we headed to a break called man's hand. Unfortunately it was shooting blanks and the 9'2 AA could not do it's barrel magic. That's ok because it caught the wave of the morning and kept Noah off the reef. Unfortunately Leif Garrett pushed too hard for the photo and ended up on the reef. No one was hurt or injured just smiles. Hopefully we get some later or tomorrow.

Enjoy

Byron

This is not at man's hand but somewhere real fun.....Tomorrow this board may really have funnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Aloha and hope you enjoy our stoke.

Waves sucked and BC 9'2 AA is pissed. So pissed it is sleeping in the house tonite..... ;D ;D ;D  The BC 9'2 AA even convinced my wife to come shoot photo's of it in action. Well no action. Tomorrow's another day. On a sad note Leif Garrett aka. Snappyhead took a hole in the foot and will be our official photographer. See ya tomorrow.

Aloha

Byron

The BC 9'2 AA convinced me to go for a few rides on 4th of July. Here are some quick pics. Nothing special. Happy 4th and more to come.

Nah it just came off the board. I think my friend on Oah applied without following directions. I am going to epoxy today.

Aloha
