This photo popped up on facebook as something I reposted six years ago lifted from a series of photos from my brother David. He was always a lot more sentimental than I am, and he had a lot of these old pictures. Strange timing, with the picture coming up a few days before memorial day, my brother died shortly after posting the pictures, he was trying to help a newbie boater who had grounded a rental sailing dingy. He swam out to help the guy, had a heart attack, and died. He was 59.

Not sure why I'm posting this here, I've been thinking of Dave a lot over the past few days. Nice to think about him, he was a good guy. I tortured him when he was little, and he got revenge by growing to at least twice my size and strength. I miss the guy.

It's a rough stretch when you lose a brother.  I only had one.  So I'm up for adoption.
