Paddle Out spot in San Clemente

I'm trying to help a friend set up a memorial paddle out. The location they're looking at is San Clemente Avenida Estacion parking lot (by the MetroLink). Does anyone know if there's easy beach access at the south end of that parking lot as it appears on Google Earth? We'll have an assortment of SUPs, SUS'ers, loaner-proners and experienced proners. The services are mid-week at the Casino San Clemente and this spot looks close. Any help is appreciated.

This is North Beach.  You just go to the south end of the parking lot and cross the tracks for beach access.  You can see the crossing on Google Earth, it is about 6 cars from the end of the lot.

If the LG tower is guarded you will have to go south of their flags down towards "204's"...unless, you are on a mat...;-)
