Fear of surfers ruining / banning SUP

Anybody heard about any fallout from that incident at Ho'o? I read about it on the omaui forum and heard from some guys in the line-up about it, but not much else...

What incident? There have a been more SUP guys at Ho'okipa recently than I've seen in the last two years (including me). I heard something happened a few days ago--what gives?

Of course the cure for all ills in in the bay tonight. Thick corduroy all the way to the horizon. Ho'okipa was double overhead at 5:00 PM when I went by and while there were wind ripples everywhere, the sets were beautifully spaced and clean, clean, clean.
