World Record Paddle Event - California Paddle with Tom Jones

Hello Stand Up Paddlers!

Have you heard about the California Paddle 2007 project?  Tom Jones, extreme athlete and environmental advocate, will begin his world-record paddle of the ENTIRE 1250-MILE LENGTH OF THE CALIFORNIA COAST on August 4th. 

This three-month journey is the first time this has ever been done by any human being...and you all can participate.  There will be several paddle out opportunities along the way and Tom would like to invite all of you to support him.

He is doing this to raise awareness of the problem of plastic pollution in the ocean.
This cause is entitled "Campaign for a Plastic-Free Ocean" and it will achieve national, possibly world-wide attention.
