Just watched it for a couple of minutes - had to be 50+ guys in the water.
One (1) guy got up and rode for 5 seconds - the rest floundered.
Sure is a good thing SUP is restricted there - - they would put the crawlers to shame.
Easy Rider is the name of my store in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
My name is Warren Currie . . . and we SUP Surf indoors . . . in a shopping mall!

check out this live HD camera from the www.hdrelay.com camera service team

this live camera is one the best live SUP focused cameras hands down !

http://www.balihai.com/Blog/kauai-hd-webcam/

live on Hanalei Bay, Hawaii  right on the surf

PS be sure to use the full screen mode on a nice monitor however it will cause massive amounts of day dreaming and asking yourself "why am I not there"

be sure to tell the Bali hai coldwell bankers group how much you appreciate the great cams

 ;D.... fore"cast"

I think a lot of folks...me included...tend to come straight to the forum but there's more to the zone than just the forum. I'm going to post a new thread on it....easy to overlook.

Admin requested many moons ago to submit favorite forecast tools for your area....should probably get updated

I hate beach cams, they are the downfall of surfing civilization.  Cameras = crowds.

here is a live controllable HD camera we did in S cal over tourmaline surf park , its great for checking texture, crowds and wind.

for www.sundiego.com surf shops

http://www.sundiego.com/static/surfcam_pacificbeach.php] http://www.sundiego.com/static/surfcam_pacificbeach.php

andygere- fyi  tourmo has always been crowded out way before cameras

i love the comment "down fall of surfing civilization "

when was surfing civilized ? how civil is wasting fuel driving around looking for the least crowded spot to stand up surf?

the real problem is when people set up low quality live  cams where you cant see any details it makes the viewer take a guess go to the mainstream breaks. the new HD camera systems if professional serviced give us usable data to make best use of your local knowledge, plus they are great for the local surf businesses website etc...

i disagree-clearly these SUP kooks are the downfall of surfing-just kidding-i dont really care actually-and if a young-obnoxious-agressive surfer looks at the cam and sees SUPs as far as the eye can see maybe he will go somewhere else!?
If i had a cam i would paste cutout pics of SUPs on it-big huge 12 lairds!-and tugboats!-oh and kayaks and butt boarders!
bottom line is im going out if it looks fun-suppers-longboards-shorties-butt boarders whatever-if you paddle out with a good attitude and just be cool you can have a good time just about anywhere.
