I'm riding an 8'2" Infinity Carver TL. I've made the steps down from larger boards. I started out on a 10'6", to a 9'0", a different 9'0", an 8'6", and now the 8'2". Keep in mind I'm about 190LBS and the Infinity 8'2" floats me great and it nose rides like you wouldn't believe! For smaller days/ Sano I just ordered a 9'0" Infinity Competitor nose rider. Sanded it out last week now I'm just waiting on airbrush and glass!

1)  8'10" X 27" X 4"  Surfboards Makaha/Jay Richardson.....for ankle snappers to as big as I can handle (the board handles more than me!)

2)  Almost Pau: 12'6" X 23" X 5"  DW/Race Board by Me (first one)!....for Oahu's mellow DW's, training, and holoholo.
(Just got the glass on today.  Without pad, fin box or leash plug: 16.4 lbs!!!)

Sold this past year:   Bark 14' X 30"carbon bottom
                                Vortice XP 14' Hollow Carbon

Just road my new Infinity Competitor today (nose ride model). Ordered it at 9'x 28" x 3 7/8". Floated me perfectly and nose rode really well. Can't wait to get it in some cleaner waves. It was pretty small and pretty bumpy today.

10'6 Hobie ATR. It was great as a beginner board and I'll keep it for husband/kid and flat days, but I'm shopping for a smaller board.

I'm on a 9'6" PSH Wide Ripper.

Would like to have a try at a "under 9') board ... but wouldn't like to lose much glide and wave catching ability.

10'1" x 32 3/4" x 4 7/8" Blair and added another recently - found a used Solid Surfco Mariner 8'6" x 29" x 4 1/4" (quite a bit different from the Blair!  It'll take a few sessions to get used to the size difference...).

Last Summer, I bought a 10' NSP just for staying in shape when the surf was flat.
Then one day, I tried catching some waves.  It was as challenging as it was frustrating.
I got proficient on that boat of a board and finally had enough of yawing that thing around.
Picked up a Starboard 8'5" Pocket Rocket.  It took a few sessions to really get the hang of it, but it's now the main ride.
Fast and very loose, and very fun!   :)

Perfect Wave 12-6, pointy nosed stable board for surfing and flat water.
Perfect Wave 11-6 round nose for surfing and flat water.
Laird 12-1, great all arounder.
Homemade 15' race/touring board with a Bark style hull. Very fast and great for downwinders.
