Went out after the rains this am, flatwater to avoid the bacteria in the surf and got to cruise along next to a little 3 foot shark that looked and acted like a scale model of a White. Dark top, white belly, cruised with his fin about 3 inches out of the water and it was just mesmerizing. Truly awesome creatures. I moved on and made my Marina Lap and then headed in, but it was good to be on the water and see a little nature in the middle of LA.
If you guys get out this way, rent a board, put in at Mother's Beach and have a nice cruise around. It's 2 miles to the breakwater, perfect for a workout.
