2008 QuickSilverEdition Ku Ikaika Video

Hello friends,
It's finally  here and it sure has been fun putting together the Ku Ikaika video. I got started on it the other night and worked on it until about 3:30am. Then, I polished it up yesterday. I hope you all enjoy it. There's both the high resolution and low resolution versions on the site depending on your internet connection speed. Right now, they're both on the front page and you'll always be able to find them in the VIDEO gallery at http://www.supsurfmag.com.

If you are able to watch the HI RES version, you can blow it up full screen and see Aaron Napoleon pull into that infamous barrel. You'll also see Blane's wave and action from Bonga Perkins, Ikaika Kalama, and others.

On a side note, HaleiwaBill and I  have been doing this radio show and we did one reflecting back on the Ku Ikaika. We don't pretend to be the experts or anything, but just sharing our experience and having a good time. It's in the RADIO section of the site.

Once more....a huge congrats to everyone involved with the event! It was truly awesome. A special thanks to QuickSilverEdition, C4 Waterman, and Red Bull for sponsoring the event and bringing everyone together for such a stoked out event. I can't wait until next year. Mahalo.

Thanks DW, as you tell we certainly do NOT take ourselves to seriously!..........hopefully the show conveys our stoke for beach boy surfing, provides some necessary info to those just getting started, or as Austin and Blane said, it gives them some "comic relief" to a long day their surf shop!......LOL.

And yes, we are ALL part of a huge SUP family!

Nice job on the video- good job editing and music selection was spot on- I don't know if I'm speaking for everybody else but I was waiting for your cut on this one ever since somebody dropped a rumor that you were working on it. Keep 'em coming!
