Fast, frequent, small chop...
« on: June 07, 2010, 06:35:22 AM »
looking for a board for fitness/cruising for land locked barrier island bays that see a lot of wind and fast, frequent, small chop. Board to be used 80 to90% of the time in the bay and I have little interest in the surf. Local dealer has a Bark Expedition, 14' Laird Surftech and a Jimmy Lewis Cruise Control board on site. Of those what do you all recommend or what other boards might better serve me. Newbie, 5'11, 215 lbs with no board experience. Appreciate any advice and thanks!

The Naish 14..  ;D ..Welcome to the Zone.. IMO the 14' Glide paddles into chop better than most boards out there.

A good friend had the Laird 14.. sold it a bought the Bark 14' Expedition.. sold it and has now bought the Naish 14' Glide..

He tells me he's very happy now.. Demo'ing is the best way to know for sure.
