naish nalu 10'6 / starboard drive 10'5

hi guys back again looking for your advice.

it's not possible to afford a Naish mana where i live.
Reunion island, indian ocean.

the choice is between 2 boards.

naish nalu 10,6 / 28
or
drive 10,5 /30 camo black

there is someone who have tried the nalu.
is it stable enough for a beginner ( my girl friend 119lb)

your thought about this board.

Yes the board is fine for a beginner. My wife started on that board, and she weight more than your GF.

A buddy took it out before ever SUPing and did okay.


I like it. The board handles very much like a longboard. Smooth easy to paddle you can go early into waves, and yet it turns well. Not heavy like many of the other boards. Handles smooth IMO. I am not sure at what point I would not take it out if I didn't have board for bigger waves, but the board can easily handle well overhead waves.

LOL< yes sorry it is the Nalu. Naish has improved this shape a little since I first got mine. The v is more pronounced and the board itself is a little more agile on the wave.
