Starboard's new secret race board?

that board is awesome! a buddy of mine told me that mark raphorst(sp.) was the one who shaped the starboard that colin won the race on.  Wonder what the cost of that one is? anyone know?

Hmmm, this is getting exciting.  With the rise in popularity of downwinding, it's only a matter of time before there will be a lot more selection of boards and hopefully the competition will keep the prices down. Starboard, C4,and PSH with boards in the works hmmmm....

Raaphorst and it was Conner who won the race. Conner has been paddling a Point, but the one he was on at the Molokai wasn't it--looks like a custom F14 with Starboard paint.

I don't recognize the board that Campbell is on, unusual shape, but it has SIC steering on it. Mark makes a LOT of R&D boards. In fact if they didn't come out of a female mold it's pretty much no two alike. Even the hollow plug molded boards get shaped uniquely.

i bought a jimmy lewis albatross last weekend with a qp blade and downwind rudder.

have only had it out twice, though, and it's not a true racer like that starboard.

If I am not mistaken this is one of three made off of Ekolu Kalama's design he was last riding at SIC. The first one was made is here in Honolulu and Doug from Wet feet owns it.
