Nice web site Ben.

You rated the board as pricy. Was it $1449?  I'm guessing $1449 because I heard the bamboo deck Mana's go up $50 in price when they arrive this summer.

How was the weight? The Aussie's all commented on the heavy weight. Does the US batch feel heavy?

I expect the 9'3 is lighter, as my 8'10 weighs a little more than my 9'3, but is the 8'4 a boat anchor? I'm worried the switch to bamboo decks may add weight after hearing the Aussie reviews.

Thanks
Dwight

Dwight - Thanks for the props about the site.  I should have some pics/vids of the 8'4" up in a few days.  My shop gave me a little discount at $1299.  I think they had it retail for $1399.  It is not heavy at all.  Lighter than my 9'3", although I have not weighed it to be exact.  I love this board.  Just got back from a double overhead session.  Biggest I have had it out in so far.  Real steep drops.  Serious speed.  This thing turns so fast.  My first bottom turn surprised me as I flew off and did a few 360's down the wave face while skipping like a stone on my back.  That was fun.  I love living at the beach...

I can't find the 8'4" on the Naish site, what are the dimensions on that baby?

Dimensions are listed at the top of the review.  8'4" x 27 1/2" x 4 3/8"

Don't think there is any info on this board from Naish right now.  It is supposed to be a limited edition so I am not sure what info they will post.

Wait until you see the 8'6 that may be produced. Kalama has been riding the prototype and the lines on this baby are sick. Super thin in the tail for extreme vertical top to bottom maneuvers. Next time I am out with Dave I will ask him to let me give it a try. Hope they bring this board in the line.

Yes, you did.  I was too excited about the pic's.  ;)  Now I want to wait for the 8'6" proto-type....the rail thing is what I've been looking for in my next SUP.
