nice.

did I hear right about a new gun? I might have misunderstood, but it was still in the carton and the guy said it was a new gun..he might have meant new as in just in.

How is that 8'4'' compared to the 7'9''? I've ridden Iggy's 6'6'' hybrid and if 7'9'' board is anything like that I have to save. I dunno why I have not pulled the trigger yet....maybe a good thing to do in the morning...

6'6 :o is it a prototype? I saw the 7'9 at Kailua store
noone mentioned any smaller SUB's. I will wait and see what they have in there next container. They claimit will be all shorter type SUP's.

I think this is the next board for me.  I am up for a new challenge after having a lot of fun on my Naish 9'3" for the past year.  My local shop says that it will be 2 months before they can get this board.  Not sure why?  Although it is new I have seen a few vids/pics being posted of people who already have them.  Anyone know where I can pick one up sooner?

To clarify the 6'6'' I've ridden is a 'regular' prone surfboard. They just call it the hybrid because it is a shortboard shaped like a longboard. They have it in the Kailua store.

That said I am sure they do test a lot of different shapes and sizes....SUP is so new, they are probably testing out all sorts of ideas, so they are bound to have some protos floating around. :-) The 7'9'' apparently started out with a butt nose, and morphed into what they sent out to market. I like weirdly shaped boards (if they perform).

That's a great looking board....... shame it's that hideous colour. Somehow Naish ( Do I say Nash? or Naysh ? ) has locked itself into making the some of the best SUP's ,then painting them with the worst baby shit colour the world has ever seen. And don't get me started on that Naish logo, my god!!

It's Nash.. (I think) .. That how we say it here.

I like the Naish color.. and I think their logo is pretty good.

I love the way Naish have evolved over the past few years.. I also think it's good that they have stuck with the yellow and white making it almost and trade mark board color for them.

Are there any board colors or board logo's that you do like?..  ;D

I busted their chops for only offering yellow too, then when it came time to order a custom board, I had to pick a color. Crap, I couldn't think of any colors that don't get blistering hot other than white and yellow. Then the light went off in my dim brain. Maybe Mr. Naish is smarter than me. Yellow and white make the most sense for EPS production boards. Hum, I like yellow now.

BTW, it's Pantone 123C.........just in case you want to paint all your boards yelllow  ;)

I don't know the volume, but I am 205lb and the 7'9'' floats me easily. The first time I took it out, I thought I had made a mistake...but the board rides really nice.

Anyone have updated reviews or more opinions on the 8'4"? I've been trying to find a "pre-owned"one for sale, but have had no success as of yet. Guess I may have to pull the trigger one a brand new one.

The 8'4" was a special edition board and next month we will see a new board that will replace it and it will be 8'5" and slightly different to the 8'4".

I know someone that might sell you his old 8'4" because he has a new 8'5" on order.. btw everyone that I know who's surfed the 8'4" loves it.
