Chrismass Eve Morning....

 Went out today at a local spot, first thing this morning. I knew there was supposed to be a knee to thigh high wave today. Met my SUP bud Christian, and hit the Beach. We where Surfing the shorebreak near a small rock grouping, and I noticed a set roll through the pass (it was about  a 1/2 mile away). So we paddle over to it. Well what an early Christmass present we got. It was waist high, and peeling lefts for about 100 yards. There is a sandbar that forms at the Northern side of the Inlet, and it was SUPER low tide. We just sat out in the deep water on the edge of the sandbar, and picked off theese fantastic rides. I have Surfed that Beach for 25 years now, and have never seen it break that far out on the sandbar. It was definately a gift swell.
