Yellow bottom = AST

White bottom = Carbon.

I've only had it out for one short ocean paddle today, and I would say that everything I have read here seem true.  The board is average in the flats, but once you get it in to a downwind/following sea situation it seems to pick up every little bump.  I was really impressed.

Can't wait to give it a good go in some real  bumps tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes.

Hi,
Glad you are enjoying your new ride! I love my 14 glide but do find riding flat water average as well. I have found riding the board more forward helps in flat water. It keeps the nose down and puts more of the length in the water. Have fun!
