Hi folks, a local reporter did a short story about SUP featuring myself & another dude up here in the cold northwest.  I am dreaming of my first SUP experience in warm water... someday...

Great article.   I am a Husky and loved my time in the NW.  I have several friends that are into kayaking and have told them about SUP.  I hope to make it up next summer and do some down river runs with friends.


Who made the 16 foot distance paddleboard.  Looks like a Joe Bark?  I am looking for one for San Diego for distance.  I saw NCP http://ncpaddleboards.com/home.html had a few new stand up paddleboards at Cardiff this week.

Hoping that stand up zone will pull in more content on distance/flat water stand up.

MichaelF- it is a Joe Bark board owned by S.Martin.  I am no expert at this sport, but the difference between the Joe Bark 16' and my 12'   
was huge.  Super fast, but stable. I want one too.
