@Bean

Amazing. That is the first time I've ever seen someone nose riding a foil board. The guy makes it look easy and I bet it is anything, but easy.

Thanks for sharing the video.

Love that vid Creek!  And just think....no wetsuit-Wx is not too far away.

Speaking of Miki Dora....I'm about half way through the book "The Audacious Life and Legend of Rebel Surfer: Miki Dora, by David Resin.  "Da Cat" was Da Crazy!!!!

No wetsuits soon for me..... heading to the Carolina Cup Surf contest with Sunova Demos, on April 14th - already warm enough for me to trunk it down there, I can't wait ;D ;D ;D

I had a  Greg Noll, Miki Dora Black Cat for a long time. Great board!

Diane was going to buy me a black cat as a wallhanger for my 70th birthday because I mentioned it in my book--Riding Sophia. I talked her out of it and got an Inspire2 instead. $15K. Should have hung onto that thing Creek.

Noseriding that foil make perfect sense. Big fin, buried deep, and not going anyplace.

Jackson's board is a classic noserider. Looks like a slightly blown up, thicker version of a Stewart or a Pearson. I like how subtly he stalls the board. I can almost get to the nose on my 10'4 Foote Triton, but not quite. The thing steers just fine from close to the nose though.

As I mentioned above, the Miki Dora book I'm reading is pretty amazing.......LOT's of stuff on the whole run of the Dora surfboards.  How Greg Noll put up with the shenanigans is a true test.  I'd LOVE to have a Dora board as a wall hanger......so cool, but I could probably only afford a copy cat!

Nice!  Cool pic Creek...........whats the story behind getting that board and whatever happened to it?

You and Pono have used the model "Black Cat".....I see that's the highly regarded top end "Da Cat" model and listed at auction price of $15-18K....Holy Hell!

guy noseriding on the foil is patrice from gong in france.  he is a freaking awesome surfer who, on his forums, has been exceedingly kind and helpful to me.

ain't that dora book great?  quite a life that guy had.  and what a sad ending.

Yea, I miss our Gong rider, Colas.  He always had good insight and still does on other forums.

DB has got to be one of the most versatile surfer/shapers out there, from prone mini Simmons to racing stand ups and everything in between.
