This guy is hanging five more than I've seen on a SUP - 10 foot.
Could be the board or could be the surfer (and/or the fin)
or both (or all three):

board is not a noserider, to my eye at least, with all that nose kick, so i'd say it's 100% the rider.  damn good stuff.  thanks.

I would agree with that assessment Linter.

Looking back at Clays "Jackson Close, Deep (10'x26!")" post, I ran into this clip:

I wonder how wide the sup Dogman was riding? And I don't think it was 26" wide.
Blue Planet Duke: 10'5" x 32" x 4.5" @ 190 Liters (2 Dukes)
Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters
SUP Sports One World: 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 Liters
CJ Nelson Parallax: 9'3" x 23 1/2" x 3 3/16" @ 78.8 Liters (prone surfing longboard; Thunderbolt Technologies build in Red construction)

NW, I think he might be on a 30" 29" (thanks Badger) wide board.  The Jackson Close board from the previous video posted by Clay is 10'X26" x 4".  BTW, I'm sure Dogman could handle the 26"er too ;D

If you check the comments on YouTube, someone asked how wide the board is.

Dogman replied,  "It's 10'2 x 29" x 4 3/8" 145L."

Kalama E3 6'1 x 23" 105L
Axis HPS 980 / PNG 1300
Sunova Flow  8'10 X 31"  119L
Me - 6'0" - 165lbs - 66yo

Here is another from Jackson showing what's possible in not so perfect waves.

@Bean

Looks like Jackson was surfing an 8' board. He makes nose riding in not optimal wave conditions look easy.
Blue Planet Duke: 10'5" x 32" x 4.5" @ 190 Liters (2 Dukes)
Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters
SUP Sports One World: 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 Liters
CJ Nelson Parallax: 9'3" x 23 1/2" x 3 3/16" @ 78.8 Liters (prone surfing longboard; Thunderbolt Technologies build in Red construction)

Instead of walking back, I like to control the board without leaving the nose.

I First saw Mikey Dora using his knees and ankles to steer up and down the face to stay in trim.
Subtle and fun

I've watched this video before. This video (and others) is one of the reasons I started researching 10' to 10'6" sups with the idea of purchasing another sup to add to my quiver.

Blue Planet Duke: 10'5" x 32" x 4.5" @ 190 Liters (2 Dukes)
Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters
SUP Sports One World: 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 Liters
CJ Nelson Parallax: 9'3" x 23 1/2" x 3 3/16" @ 78.8 Liters (prone surfing longboard; Thunderbolt Technologies build in Red construction)

One of the several things that make that Jackson Close 10-foot video so damn good (and worth re-watching; I must be on my 15th or 20th time) is that it shows the actual paddle-in and takeoff -- which so many videos, for some reason, ignore. This makes it so much more involving.
When I'm watching a surf video and all I get is snippets from here and there on the ride, with no clue as to how the surfer got to that point, I'll stop watching in frustration, no matter how good the waves or surfer are.
