What's the difference - pros and cons??? epoxy/ polyester

OK help me out here, what are the practical differences between epoxy boards (like a Jimmy Lewis) and a polyester glass board?

I think understand the difference in the two types of resins, but what are the differences in the finished products - weight, cost, durability etc?

A polyester resin board will weigh about 40 lbs due to the heavy blanks used.

Epoxy is the way to go, whether glassed over bare EPS or sandwich, both are light.

I think epoxy is tougher too. Poly boards spider crank easier in my opinion.

So far I only have epoxy boards and like the weight.  One thing I like about the glass layup is the glide and stability in the water.  The glass boards sit lower and seem to be a bit more forgiving side to side.
