All 3 days I rode a new 9'-1" that is a mind blower....   Super stable, fast paddler, surfs unreal...



Saturday 11-03-07:
Surfed a remote area alone and got some super clean chest high lefts that peeled on a shallow reef.   Pretty fun but as I was heading home I stopped at another spot and it was chest high right hand peelers and absolutely as good as it gets for that spot...    All alone it was wave after wave after little perfect wave for hours till I was so thirsty I had to leave!    Burnt out and stoked!

Sunday 11-04-07:
Went with Tony Dakine and Andrew A to a secret spot and freaking SCORED!!!   Wave after wave after wave of overhead rights and lefts that were beautiful!     Super fun.      Got soooo surfed out...   We scored!!!!   Completely stoked!!!!

Monday 11-05-07:
Some of the best waves I've surfed since I started SUPing...    Over 100+ yard rides just racing sections and pumping down the line.   Occasionally you could rip a few top turns then it was on the gas again!   Sets were double overhead, solid, roping, absolute freaking insane perfection with only a friend and I going around in circles...   The take off spot was nice and thick...     After an hour there were only 5 others out...   More people figured it out and by the time I left it was still only 20 guys or so spread far apart...    Got completely stoked and surfed out!!!     I took some photo's before I left.   It was already coming down but still had some nice ones peeling through that can give an idea how perfect it was...   I hope others on the zone get a session like this soon!!

That is a totally custom pad.   We can send the pieces and show you how to do it because the boards for mainland orders come through San Diego.    Hunter seems like a really cool guy...   I'll get a hold of him...

Blane - I'm sick to my stomach knowing I missed those but I'm stoked for you. The winds just shifted to 4 mph offshore in town so I'm cutting out of work early as soon as I'm done typing this.

By the way, I saw Blane ripping on this board and I mistook him for a SHORTBOARDER. I'm willing to bet this board is the most progressive, best surfing SUB on the planet.
