What should Bob do with his scar
« on: June 24, 2009, 05:54:02 PM »
I don't think a story is enough, though a good one might be helpful. I've always thought that if life hands you lemons, make marmalade and sell the recipe on the internet for billions... But anyway, here's my suggestions, I bet you folks have better ones.

1. I'm seeing a happy face. A little yellow ink and a tattoo pen and we're there.

2. Looks a lot like a gill. Another tattoo opportunity--some fish scales and a few extra lines and presto, aquaman. I suppose it would be going to far to do that on the other side as well.

3. Since you're going to have the scar, a few implants might be handy. a hook to hang headphones on, maybe a little bungee to keep from losing sunglasses.

As far as stories go, I think I'd go with alien abduction. "It's were the aliens put the mind control stuff in--the CIA doctors cut it out for me. And if you think that's bad you don't EVEN want to see my butt."

I'll tell you one thing:  Looking at that scar and imagining what actually produced it don't go well with chips and salsa.  Tough SOB, that Bob.  :o :o :o

How about a big fish tattoo around the whole back of the head, make the scar an open mouth ready to chomp his ear. ;)

Might as well just pice together some SUP traction all around the head in the form of a cool hairdo. Just kidding Stoneaxe. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the "kind" thoughts all... ;)

I kind of wish they'ld put a zipper pocket with a key lanyard....or maybe even a waterproof cellphone case or something.... ;D

I always wished I'd had gills as a kid...  ::)

Funny stuff, Bill! My brother has a dent type scar on his forehead from the old style (Riddell) football helmets. He constantly tells people he got the scar in New York City during a mugging when a bullet hit him in the head and bounced off and left a dent. Its entertaining to watch people's eyes light up when he tells that story.

I think I see a surfer riding a curl.

Make the outer ear the color of your favorite board, get a happy face in you ear (ear plug area), a doo on the top part of the ear and have the offshores blowing back the lip.

It would be unique and your sign.

What are you gonna do, bleed on me.  What he's got there is a mere flesh wound.  Cut myself worse shaving.  Quit your blubbering and get back on the water.

There's a little get better soon, Boston Style.  You were right Bill, that was kind of soothing.

Wow, that does look a lot like cape cod. That would put Provincetown and about thirty thousand gay guys just above bob's left ear.

Randy. Perfect. Glad it felt good. Now we're just waiting for Chan's sharp wit.
