Subscribers to Standup Journal, can u alert us when u get new issue?

I normally buy SJ at Borders, but I finally subscribed on 6-29 and it arrived yesterday -- Long Beach, CA.  Another great issue!

 Stoked the goods arrived, hopefully the bullet-proof envelope kept everything intact, no bends or creases!

Speakin' of "bends and creases," save me a wave down in Mass.! Been snaggin' it small but good up here on the NH coast, and did a ton of 5-6 miler coast paddles inches off the reef when it got small last week.


Deb, THANKS for subscribing on June 6th! ... all who subscribed between May 30th  and June 30th were mailed out a couple days ago in our final "Summer" issue subscriber batch, so it's on the way; takes a bit longer to HI.

Just found one at boarders in Maui, been waiting for weeks.  I will start subscribing now after seeing this issue.  Great thing was seeing my young neighbor boy featured in the issue.  Everything said about Kai was to the tee, such a good kid. I remember when he was about 5 when we moved in, you could see the fire then and I know he will follow his dreams.  What a great family, good luck Kai.

Just picked up the latest issue at Barnes and Noble here in Tampa.  The magazine is really well done with great pictures and personality profiles.  Not much for us basic flatwater paddlers, but then again how many pictures does one need of someone paddling flatwater?  Takes me back to my college days when I was able to surf.  I guess I'll just add SUP surfing to my bucket list.

Hey, remember this latest "Summer" issue you just picked up at Borders IS, after all, called "THE WAVE RIDERES" for a reason... this one is indeed wave intensive...

... but NEXT ish is right up your alley!! WAY more cool flatwater/"sup adventuring" photos you will love... and of course plenty of mind-bending waves shot also.

Sup is going in about 12 directions, there is something for everyone: I sup'd some sweet waves two days ago.. and last night my girlfriend and I paddled the oily-glassy lake 'til dark: gliiiiiiiiiding under a killer sunset that kept evolving -- full yoga; both versions of the same sport were awesome!!
