Yea,
I met met Nick when the dog was a pup.
Super nice guy who likes to charge big waves with mans best friend.
Not to surprised to see him at freight trains with his dog.

He has also surfed Honolua with the same dog!
I think there is a video somewhere of that session...haven't been able to find it.

He told me a story about pulling into a big stand up barrel somewhere on Oahu while doing tandem with his new girlfriend.
She hadn't surfed much and was new at tandem...the next thing she knew they where pulling to a bomb.

That is great!   I never met him before, but I was just talking to Nick a few days ago at Cove Park after he came in riding some small knee slappers with his trusty pooch.   BTW, that dog literally loves to surf.   He gets all excited when the board comes out and he knows he's going to cool off the fun way!

Aloha Byron!! I surfed w/ Bradly the otha day. he is stoked to be there in a few days....going to be there for a month. I heard you hook the brotha up!! That is cool......did you get out there at Ma'alaea the week this was taken? When i left my friend you met Mike Davies was painting a condo right there in the harbor, but it never really broke....Shoots for me. Peace out man!

Unreal, so rare to see Ma'alaea like this.  Many years on Maui and I tell you it's a gift to see days like this. When it's big, a experience you will never forget.  Went past it everyday on this swell, go by at 5:30 AM, see a few guys out, work 11 hours and go back around 6:00 PM and see fifty out. I bet it's a great feeling knowing nobody is going to drop in on the brother, love it.  So perfect, wonder if my cat would get in to it.

We played in Lahaina, outer Kihei and some spots circling Maalaea with this swell. Look forward to meeting Brad. See you nest time.
