What's up with the SF?  Will it ever run again?

Doubt it... They had an auction and sold off all the office equipment last week. Damn shame I say... I loved the Super Ferry.

Superferry lost another bid for an appeal in state supreme court recently. 

It's toast.

I'll miss the ferry, it was a great way to travel to Honolulu, It did more good than bad..

Being from the mainland, I'm not sure of the politics.  I was on Maui to see the last sailing and just could not figure out how someone spent so much money just to lose it all after getting up and running.  Did they have permits?  Was it approved by the state?  Did it get shut down for environmental issues?  It sounds like someone is going to get sued big time.
