Epic Day!
« on: February 19, 2023, 06:17:51 PM »
Amazing day, got about 42 miles on foil and 3 hours 36 minutes (according to the Waterspeed app 😏). Did not go out intending to go that far… that I was only out for 1:45ish. 😁

Wind was 20-30 mph and the 6 m cwc was on point. The harness is key.

Amazing! I see you went with a different foil this time. Better for higher winds? A 6m seems like a lot of wing for 20-30 mph. Are you switching feet on jibes?

I went with a prototype from The Hydrofoil Company and didn’t intend to go that long. After a while thought I’d try an hour.

6m CWC did surprisingly well the whole time. Guys came out on 4 m.

A little more wind today and used the 4.2 strike.

Yes on the foot switch but stopped after a bit. Today kinda figured it out much better with a quick switch.
