Costa Rica - Familly trip with a bit SUP Surfing?
« on: January 13, 2023, 12:10:18 AM »
Hi,

I'm going to visit Costa Rica next July/August with my family. I would like to take the opportunity to SUP surf in the Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately, I am the only one in my family who surfs. Therefore, it would be great to find a spot where you can surf well and with little effort (rental is necessary), the family can have a good time and you can still make nice trips or so togehter make before/after a session. Surely there are such places? What can you recommend?

Cheers from Germany
Andi

A few friends and I are headed there in The spring. We have been a couple of times before but have only prone surfed when there. I hope to try to SUP this trip. I have been thinking of reaching out to Blue Zone or stopping by. If I get any good info I'll post back in here. We have enjoyed it there every time. My family came the first trip and then it has been just the surfers ever since. The family did have a great time when they went.

Any recommendations for a board rental & hostel in Nosara area? Especially those that are open in July / August?
