Back on the water

Been too long. Not a great pic but in Italy for the next 4-5 months for work. Looking forward to exploring a new place.

Back out today for a short paddle. Beautiful area. Might have to look into getting the car ferry over to Giglio one day. Either paddle round the island or down wind back.

Got my fastest average speed too! Not sure what was up with my phone. Make sure I take my watch next time

Your average speed is about 25 mph... you can still do better : )

Those are some great photos... a cool reminder about the 'get out and explore' part of stand up. And a nice vicarious escape for me... Thanks for posting

Beautiful. Looks inviting!
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Isola del Giglio? I've toured Tuscany in my mind, but not physically. I need to go there. Years ago I did a motorcycle trip in the Dolomites. The furthest we got into Tuscany was Siena. I've always wanted to go back and see the rest of the country.
