Surf recommendations - Santa Barbara?

Any recommendations for a chill surf spot around Santa Barbara, including up to San Louis Obispo? Wish list is good waves and reasonably sup friendly. Next week… so summer… thx!

Pretty all the surf spots on surfline in SB is pretty friendly, except maybe Rincon on a good day.  Rincon usually i just stay away from the point and take all the leftover closer to the beach, I don't go there when there is a good swell.  The only place that I got bad vibe or got yell at was in Santa Cruz.

probably better off in Ventura, mondos always has something to ride all summer and is totally sup friendly

Well, skunked on the central coast ...

I went to Leadbetter, Rincon and Mondos... beautiful days...  but so placid 

Yes I'm aware of surf forecasting... and yes I'm an optimist.

Ended up sitting on my butt in the car, eating and drinking (not in the car).

Beautiful country tho'.  Pismo Beach and San Louis Obispo seem like stepping back in years.   

Below are what I'm guessing are some Rincon Point OGs surveying the ankle slappers from the shade of their clubhouse...
