F-One Phantom 1280 for Wind Foiling
« on: July 10, 2022, 04:56:38 PM »
I have been learning to Wingfoil on the F-One Phantom 1280,  "short" fuselage ( 37cm) from F-One. Total length tip of front foil to tail back is 76cm. I am comfortable wingfoili flying in control and up/down wind.  I have the Naish 2022 Hover Crossover (7'4" x 30", 120 liters) with windfoil option but have never windfoiled before. Will my Phantom 1280 be a decent learing vehicle for windfoil on the Naish Hover Crossover?  I am 85kg.

No experience with fone or wind foiling, but every windfoil I see has a super long fuse. There doesn’t seem to be a reason a foil would work or not besides whether you can bolt it to a long enough fuse. Windfoils use small wings so I think a 1280 would be on the larger side but that’s not really a problem.
