Anyone in New England have a beginner surfsup to sell ?
« on: August 23, 2023, 07:03:31 PM »
A good friend wants to get into sup surfing.  I was thinking a 160L 32"w would be a good starting point.  Anyone have some old gear they have outgrown?   Located in Mass.

Good call on the FB marketplace. I looked at bunch of ads.  130L is too small for my friend though.

I have a Laird 10'6" x 29.75" 154L that I'll let go. It is beat up and ugly but it still works and has life in it. I consider a great board for a beginner all the way to advanced. I'm down in Westport Mass. Text me if interested. 508 951-3102

If all else fails you might ping my brother Bob. He has a number of boards and he's a moose--he makes me look petite. He lives in Plymouth. LMK is you need his contact details.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Thx guys,  my friend ended out buying a pair of foamie surf boards.  A 9ft for him and 8ft for his son.  I will let him know about the Laird.  I bet that thing is the king on big waves !

See if he transitions to SUP.

Ive got a 11'6 Hypr Gun which I'm thinking of selling shortly.

It's about 160L from memory. Only 28" wide but crazy stable for that width. It's honestly more stable than some 32" wide boards I've tried.

I'm in North Wales though.
