Any info about this board?
« on: January 07, 2022, 08:28:49 PM »
I just picked up this sexy board today, wondering if anyone has any info about it?

The person I bought it from guesses it's from about 2012. It's super pristine, far too pristine for me, ha.

Dimensions are written as 10' x 23" x 29" x 17 6/8" x 4 1/8"

Sure is purdy. I'm hoping it's a good replacement for my beloved old Naish Nalu that was 10'6" x 28" (the older narrower model). I loved that board but I recently snapped it and I stalled out on the repair. Hoping this one is a similar nimble feeling longboard.

I think the board model you have is the one Laird is using in this video, but in the video I think the board does not have a deck pad and it might be a 10'6" length.

Excellent find! Early Laird board designed by Bob Pearson, Pearson Arrow, Santa Cruz. All the info is right in front of you. Epoxy, looks like a repaired broken fin box. Other than that, He shoots, he scores!

Everyone I've known that owned or owns this board raves about it's surfability.  I demo'd one at Doheny, and loved it.  Surfed great, nose rides like a dream. They are quite thin and fragile near the nose so don't go off-road during noserides, but other than that, it's a keeper for sure.

Yeah, this is mine, and loved it when I was still SUPing before that dang foiling came along. :)

One of two SUP surf boards I still have, that I can't seem to bring myself to get rid of.
