Island foil board transport-the Mule
« on: December 13, 2021, 04:13:43 AM »
When not enjoying the water below my house, I head out to different beaches and  I have been using a Mule to transport all my water toys over the years..surfboards, windsurfers, SUPs and now my foil board.  The board was a bit too wide and the wheels were rubbing the paint off the rails so I had to be McGyver and make my own axle wide enough. A carpenter friend had a plastic epoxy rod which I cut to length and it fits perfectly. Bends a little but has held up great so far.  I highly recommend the Mule for easy board transport by hand, bike or in my case ATV

I rock this cart from wheelez when headed to long beach access points and I want options.

I strap my board (inside its bag) with foil mounted straight to it and pull from the board bag handle. I strap wings, foils and cooler on top of the board. My daughter sometimes rides on as well. Works great through soft sand.
I’m a 5’9” 65kg rider:

Boards:
   4' 27L Armstrong FG Wing/Surf
   4’5” 34L Armstrong FG Wing/Surf
   4'11" 60L Armstrong Wing/Sup

Foils: Armstrong HA525, HS625, HA725, HA925, HS1050, HA1125, HS1250, HA1325
Wings: BRM 2M & 3M, FreeWing Nitro 4M, OR 5M & 7M Glide

Wheeleze looks like good option for walking on soft sand. Perfect tires for it.
Dont think it could handle being towed behind an ATV @ 30 mph
