Practicing beach starts for the upcoming harbor hoot race

That's the way to attack a start for sure. I've done a bunch of races where you have to sit on your board in the water till the horn blows, then jump to your feet and start paddling from a stand still. The running beach starts are way more fun.... Hope the race goes well for you..
