Duotone Wing Bags Are Garbage.

Duotone bags are garbage.  It's obvious no thought or effort went into these things.

What do you find wrong with them?  Mine appears to be well made although I don't use it much.

I have no issues with mine -- once rolled up properly all my Slicks fit into the bag easily (3.5 to 7.0) and they seem well made.

I’ve heard the new wings will come out with a new bag design in September

I have Duotone wings, and you do have to be be a pretty good folder to get the wing back into the bag like it was when you bought it.  I liken it to knowing origami, but once you figure it out, the bags are ok.   Windsurfing sail companies did the same thing for years and I always wondered why they didn’t make the bag a little more generous and not a perfect fit..

I do not understand why they do this.
A simple tube bag with a handle and zipper or velcro closure at one end is all you need.Like the Starboard bag.
But many brands still insist on the silly backpack thingy, PITA to use and bad for the wing.

Guys, you’re doing it wrong. The wing thing is the part that pulls you.

If y’all are using the bag go back to shore and blow up that thing that came in it. You will get on foil right away. Glad I could help.

PS on Duotones that walking stick goes in the middle.

The Unit was the only wing I ever regretted buying. Everything about it seemed cheap. From the beach umbrella bag to the beachball valve on the wing, to the lack of a pump adaptor. Upon closer inspection, the stitching was poor. Nothing about it screamed quality and long-lasting. I sold that thing after 3 weeks. Took a loss, but was glad to be rid of it.

The Slick I ordered in May just showed up. It looks and feels amazing - one pump with that boom seems to produce way more power than with handles. However, you are right, the bag is worthless.

Had one of these to carry bigger foils and decided to make it a wing bag - it will fit a couple wings, and the miniboom. Not the highest quality piece of gear, but for the price...

That Amazon bag looks perfect, and only $21.00.  I just ordered one.

Nice bag option, Thx for the tip. I might have one for the 7m for sure. Seems like they could have made the bag longer. Rolled up, one fold below the window and put it in the bag would be great.

Where do you attach the pump and boom, how do you carry it while also carrying a board? A standard front entry backpack style kite bag would work better.

I decided to go with the bigger 47" bag for $23.49.  Easier to stuff.  It's mostly just for storage and keeping my car clean.

This thing is big enough that all that stuff fits inside. You could easily carry the bag in one hand or over shoulder, and board in another. My goal is to have everything I need for a basic session in as few places as possible. This bag with wings, boom, and pump. A tub or bag with harness, leashes, safety gear, tools. And then just grab board/foil and whatever wetsuit suits the day, and you are off.

My go to spots are all between 10 and 20 minutes from my house, so nice to make a quit hit session really simple.

My 47" Infanzia bag came today and it is way bigger than I need for one wing.  I should have given more thought to the dimensions in the description.  I think I'll return it and get the smaller one.
