2020 Takuma ZK Wing Foilboard 6'2
« on: May 05, 2021, 10:38:58 AM »
Team Stand up Foilers,
Regarding:
2020 Takuma ZK Wing Foilboard 6'2
6'2" x 27.5" x 5" : 130L

I am looking for a new all arounder (Sup Foil/Wing )

I know this would wing.. But would it Sup Foil and has anyone ever Sup Foiled it?

I am 160LBS and need a bit more volume in the Pacific Northwest paddling around.

Thanks folks,

It'll definitely sup foil, and at your weight...I'd say you could go smaller (less volume) if you wanted to, and still be fine.

Me: 6'1"/185...(2) 5'1" Kings Foil/Wing Boards...7'10 Kings DW Board...9'6" Bob Pearson "Laird Noserider"...14' Lahui Kai "Manta"...8'0" WaveStorm if/when the proning urges still hit.

Maybe you already know this, but you can ride a bit less volume with a foil hanging down there - it provides some stability because it slows the motion down.  I would think that at your weight, this board is big enough to SUPfoil on.
