This is a very cool video! If we'd all take 10 minutes after (or before) our surf sessions and pick up beach litter (I use an old set of barbecue tongs so I don't have to touch it) - it all helps. Thanks! Deb

i spent 1 1/2 hours picking up trash on the beach at malibu last year when surfrider held a beach clean up...waves were good too..

.very bummed about how many "long time ...i been surfing this break 35+ years before you instalocs(meaning me) showed up....locals"...wouldnt lift a finger to help...actually laughed at me in my orange hat picking up trash..."Yeah that janitor/SUP guy even has the hat for it har har har"....

lost a lot of respect for certain individuals after that...and dont consider it "their" break anymore...

Totally ok to share the message! There are some humorous moments too: once, when I was collecting litter at a beach, a (visitor) woman (with hands akimbo on her hips) said, "It's about time you showed up!". She thought I was part of some work-release program ....
