ive surfed older generations of the SB pro and own the 8'2 wedge.

what specific questions do you have?

IMHO the wedge is the next gen in performace sup.  To ride a SB pro the way you ride a wedge youd barely be able to stand on it to get the same performance

He must be talking about the Sunova Wedge, not the Starboard Wedge.

Nope Starboard widepoint line has been changed to the “wedge”pretty sure, surprised no one has tried either of these new boards from Starboard posted this a month or so ago, still no one have a go on them, like to hear as both of these new boards look pretty nice, really not sure why I’m interested as mostly foiling winging or supfoil these days but get the itch to have a nice bigger wave regular sup board once in awhile since I broke my old favorite Naish board 2-3 years back

Whoops!  Yes- I was talking about the Genration (Sunova) Wedge.   I had no idea Starboard came out with a model with the same name.  Sorry!

The SUPboarder crew did a review of the 8'7" ... but these guys love everything SB does, so take it for what its worth.

+ a few prone surfboards nobody here cares about :)
